To meet the long Cherished demand of Hoshiarpur City, this school was established by the D.A.V. College, Hoshiarpur Society. It is affiliated to C.B.S.E. New Delhi under Code No. 1630209 and school Code No. 20215 to admit the students from Pre-Nursery to Senior Secondary Level. The Children sent to this institution are treated as a sacred trust, with the continued Co-operation of the parents. No efforts are spared to create integrated personalities eager to find every day a new day and ever taking their best step forward. The latest techniques are used to bring their hidden talent to the surface. Indiscipline is not tolerated. Here the students find another home away from their own.

The School is located in the heart of the city with all the modern facilities for the convenience of the children. It has two wing. Junior Wing is located on Arya Samaj Road, Hoshiarpur, and Near BSNL Office. Here the Classes are from Pre- Nursery to 4th Standard.
Senior Wing is located in the D.A.V. School Complex. It has three gates which open to Ramesh Nagar, towards Bal Krishan Road and Mall Road, near Shimla Pahari Chowk for the facility of Children.
The School provides modern education with emphasis on moral and ethical values, development of mental and physical faculties for character building and all round development of children. The School besides this takes earnest step to inculcate love in its pupils to have the values of social quality & nationality. It helps to create the ambition to serve the humanity with tolerance, integrity and commitment to work in them.
To ensure administrative efficiency, the school has been organized into sections i.e. Junior & Senior. Each section is looked after by a supervisor under the overall guidance of the Principal. The number of children in each class is kept within a manageable limit so that each student can be paid adequate individual attention. A particular stress is laid upon the development of conversational and reading abilities of the child before he or she proceeds to acquire writing skills.
